Faculty/Staff Chess, Carrom, and Table Tennis Tournament 2025

The Faculty/Staff Chess, Carrom, and Table Tennis Tournament 2025 was successfully conducted on March 3-4, 2025, at the Marena Sports Complex, Bengaluru. The event saw active participation from faculty and staff members, fostering sportsmanship and camaraderie.

In Carrom (Men's Doubles), Team SMI’s Benjamin and Pradeep secured first place, followed by ZOLO’s Harshavardhan and Sanamani in second, and Onelife’s Darshan V and Prakash K in third. In Carrom (Women’s Doubles), MIT (Research Scholar)’s Usha Rani R.E and Manjula claimed first place, followed by MIT’s Sindhu and Harini in second, and ZOLO’s Jully and Prema H.K in third.

For Table Tennis (Men’s Singles), Dr. Tusar Kanti Mishra (MIT) won first place, Mr. Mahantesh R. Chandaragi (MIT Research Scholar) finished second, and Koushik (Staff Nurse, Manipal Clinic) secured third. In Table Tennis (Women’s Singles), Geeta G Ramshette (MIT Research Scholar) won first place, followed by Dr. Shefali Jayswal (MIT) and Dr. Sushruta S.H (MIT).

In Chess, Dr. Manasa (MIT) secured first place, Mallikarjun Shivoor (MIT Research Scholar) finished second, and Gururaja K V (SMI) took third. The tournament was a grand success, reinforcing a culture of competitive spirit and active engagement among faculty and staff at MAHE, Bengaluru.
