Congratulations to Dr. Spoorthi Singh from the Department of Mechatronics for being invited as a Distinguished Speaker at the 2025 International Conference on Green Economy, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and AI for Green Technologies, organized by Godavari Global University, Rajamahendravarma from 27th to 29th August 2025.
Your valuable contribution, impactful presentation, and insights on sustainable development and emerging technologies have been highly appreciated. Wishing you continued success and many more such milestones ahead.






Ganesh Nayak from the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering has been awarded the prestigious Ecology Project International (EPI) Alumni Leadership Award for his outstanding work with the Centre for Outdoor Studies (COS). As part of this recognition, he has received a grant of $800, which will support an ecological survey of the MIT Manipal campus, documenting birds, reptiles, amphibians, and butterflies.
The survey findings will be shared through pamphlets, workshops, and hand-painted billboards to raise awareness about local biodiversity. Tejas Rao from the Department of ICT, MIT, will lead the survey, while Sanika Deshmukh from MSLS will oversee design and illustration. EPI, a US-based nonprofit organization, focuses on youth development, leadership, and habitat conservation.
Heartiest congratulations to Dr. Muralikrishna H from the Department of E&C and the entire team for securing the prestigious grant for the project titled "InDyslexiaCare: AI-based Assistive Technology for Dyslexic Children in Indic Languages." This funding has been awarded by IIT Mandi iHub and HCI Foundation, located at IIT Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, under the Department of Science and Technology (DST)’s NM-ICPS (National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems) scheme.
The project has received a significant grant of ₹22,92,400. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication and innovative spirit of the team and highlights the collaborative strength of various institutions within MAHE and underscores the impact of interdisciplinary research in advancing assistive technologies.
