1st Manipal Forensic Oration

The Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, will be organising the 1st Manipal Forensic Oration on 12 March 2026. The oration speech will be delivered by Dr Madhusudan Reddy Nandineni, Staff Scientist and Group Leader at the Laboratory of DNA Fingerprinting Services and the Laboratory of Genomics and Profiling Applications, Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad, under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. He will deliver a lecture titled “DNA Fingerprinting in Crime Investigations and Disaster Victim Identification: Challenges and Recent Developments.” The event will be presided over by Dr Shankar M Bakkannavar, Professor and Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, KMC Manipal.
