With immense luck, I was successfully accepted at the Bengaluru Campus of Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The faculty members have been very cooperative. College timings are perfectly balanced. The institute also arranges a lot of extracurricular activities. The Psychology programme has been fun but challenges every student academically to do their best and reach their capabilities. The interpersonal relationships among my peers have been very good with great communication, and very interactive classes which include presentations and group discussions. The overall experience has been amazing, and I look forward to completing my undergraduate programme from DLHS.

My experience at MAHE Bengaluru is one that I will cherish and remember long after my days as a student. Picking MAHE to pursue journalism – a very dear subject – has been one of the best decisions I have made. The faculty members, especially the journalism and media ones, are excellent and highly knowledgeable in their respective fields of study. The programme is not theoretical and focuses on practical learning, which has helped me improve as an interviewer and a photographer. To top it all off, I have made friends for life at MAHE, who consistently motivate me to become the best version of myself. I am proud to be a part of this esteemed institution and hope to give back to it someday.

The English programme and faculty members are excellent. The faculty members encourage the students to do as much research as they can, in and out of the classroom. They give importance to the syllabus and what the students want to do. They are very approachable and help the students in every viable way they can. There are a lot of intercollegiate opportunities given to us. The programme is structured in a way that is easy for everyone to understand but sets extremely lofty standards at the same time. The electives and courses offered through the programme are remarkably interesting.

The campus with its vibrant diversity helped me enhance my social skills and leadership qualities. It really allowed me to grow as an individual. The faculty members create a great space for deliberations, and exchange of ideas and knowledge, and provide seasoned guidance. It is a vastly transformative and liberating experience. Be it an academic or a personal issue, the department always has our backs. It offers a pristine location and dynamic infrastructure to empower you to actualize your aspirations.

In Political Science, we are taught about the various aspects of politics from across the globe and in Economics, we are made to understand various theories and situations with live examples. I am an avid learner. Coming to Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru Campus for pursuing M.A. in English Language and Literature was not my original plan. But I am glad that I made it here. As a learner, it gives me immense joy to convey that each day is a new experience! The faculty members have been incredibly supportive, and their constant encouragement has guided me to comprehend that the primary aim of education is to quench the thirst for knowledge and not to score marks. The syllabus is meticulously curated and gives a deep insight into each topic. The exposure is not merely associated with academics and the frequent workshops and events mold the understanding of the world. The environment created by the staff and the faculty members is very apt to learn things and practice them in daily life. I really enjoy studying here and I am looking forward to learning much more!

The M.A. in Multimedia and Communication programme at MAHE BLR is unlike other M.A. media programmes offered elsewhere. The curriculum focuses not just on academia but also on good amounts of fieldwork and the skill development aspects of media. While most media programmes around the country focus on the technical facets of the industry, here at MAHE BLR, the programme also brings in the sensitization of aspiring media and corporate communication practitioners. The media faculty members in specific strongly values holistic learning, discourses of all sorts, and interaction at all levels. The inclusivity offered at DLHS lets me participate effectively without having to worry about judgment and standardization of identities.
