MIT Manipal had organised an event to host academicians and principals from Government PU Colleges of Udupi District to showcase the available facilities and provide a detailed briefing about the recently announced HBSF-MAHE EduEmpower Scholarship. This scholarship aims to support economically weak students who have studied in government schools across India.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Somashekara Bhat, Joint Director of MIT. The dignitaries present on the occasion included Udupi DDPI Sri P. Maruthi and Mr. Verghese Paul, President of the Government PU Principal’s Association; along with Sri. Manjunath Bhat, Principal of Government Junior College, Hiriyadka, Udupi, Mr. Mahesh Prabhu, Director of Admissions at MAHE, Dr. Ramachandra Murthy, Associate Director (Planning and Development).
Mr. Mahesh Prabhu provided an insightful overview of the HBSF-MAHE EduEmpower Scholarship scheme, outlining its benefits and application process. He also highlighted other scholarship opportunities available to aspiring students who wish to take admission at MIT.
